Eaton offers a full suite of rackmount UPS products for enterprise-class battery backup for network closets, IT server racks, mission critical applications and high density computing environments with power ratings ranging from 550 VA to 60 kW. Eaton rackmount models are available from 1U rackmount to 21U rackmount UPSs, with an option to expand your capacity with Eaton’s scalable UPS models.

Eaton 5P UPS

The Eaton 5P UPS provides premium protection for servers, network equipment and storage with the flexibility of a stand-alone unit while still allowing you to seamlessly manage your connected equipment, even in virtualized environments. The 5P features 1U and 2U rackmount and tower models, new models with lithium-ion batteries and select models can be wallmounted.

Eaton 9PX UPS

The Eaton 9PX is a double-conversion topology providing constant power conditioning and battery packs for extended runtime, now available in lithium-ion batteries. The 9PX tower/rackmount UPS is built for scalable deployment and features a graphical LCD interface.

Eaton 9PXM UPS

The Eaton 9PXM UPS is a scalable, modular rackmount UPS that combines the highest levels of reliability and the lowest total cost of ownership. Eaton’s 9PXM UPS enables you to build a mission critical power solution specific to your needs. Its patented design allows you to add capacity or redundancy, and increase runtime as your power needs change.

Eaton 5PX G2 UPS

The 5PX G2 UPS has power ratings ranging from 1 to 3 kVA, with low and high voltage options and offers up to four optional external battery modules for extra runtime. The 5PX G2 UPS has reduced depth to conserve space allowing for high density wall mount rack options, with the 2 to 3kVA models.

The 9PX G2 UPS builds on the highly successful 9PX platform, this next-generation online double-conversion UPS has many enhancements such as enhanced battery management, best-in-class efficiency, more power in less (RU) space, and market-leading cybersecurity. The 9PX G2 UPS is simple to configure and easy to deploy, meeting the demands of a wide-range of IT applications from network closets to enterprise data centers.

Tripp Lite series cloud-connected UPS

The Tripp Lite series 2U rack-mount/tower cloud-connected line-interactive UPS is engineered to deliver robust and reliable power protection for your essential equipment. Available in 750VA, 1000VA and 1500VA models, this versatile UPS can be conveniently mounted in a rack, used as a tower or mounted on a wall. It’s ideal for a variety of environments, from data centers to network closets.

Helpful hints

Where is the best place for your equipment? Rackmount UPSs slide in alongside your IT equipment off the floor, keeping it all away from water leaks and spills.
Mounting hardware included? It is important to ensure that the proper 2- or 4-post mounting hardware is included with the UPS battery backup or you’ll need to purchase it separately.
Where to install the UPS in the rack? When it comes to installing the UPS, it’s almost always the heaviest component in your rack so you’ll want to position it at the bottom especially if you have external battery packs.
